I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
Faith in Action: Give thanks to the Lord with all of your heart. Being thankful is even more powerful when you share it with someone else. What are you thankful for?
I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
Thanksgiving Day is quickly approaching and I thought it would be nice to share some of the things I am thankful for. The Lord has been so, so good to me. I am thankful for everything the Lord has done for me and like King David, I want to share His wonderful deeds and goodness with the world. I am grateful for another day of life, for my salvation and for God’s love, grace and mercy. Without them where would I be? The Lord rescued me from a life of sin and although I am not perfect, I am not who I used to be. He has broken the chains that bound me and set me free. I have a roof over my head, food on the table and clothes on my back. The Lord provides for all my needs and so much more. I have an amazing husband who loves the Lord, loves me and loves our family. I am blessed beyond measure! What are you thankful for?
Heavenly Father, thank You for everything, there are too many blessings to count. I am so grateful for Your goodness and mercy. Thank You, God, from the bottom of my heart and with all that I am, I give You thanks. Amen
I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
Thanksgiving Day is quickly approaching and I thought it would be nice to share some of the things I am thankful for. This year our family went through the one of the hardest seasons we’ve had to go through together. In July, my husband was diagnosed with stage II colon cancer. Because of God’s great mercy, the cancer was found early enough for the tumor to be removed. He recovered from the surgery and did not have to have chemo therapy. For that alone, we are so grateful to God for his healing. But the story doesn’t end there. My husband is the sole supporter for our family and with him being unable to work during the recovery process we came very close to losing everything we have. But God made a way where there was no way. The Lord put it in the heart of many to help us along the way. Every time I thought we were at the end of the road the Lord opened up a new door. I was repeatedly reminded of God’s goodness as He kept showing us time after time that if we trust in Him, He will make a way. Through it all, my faith has been made stronger and I am so thankful for my relationship with the Lord and for His amazing grace. My heart is filled with gratitude for all the things He has done for us. He has renewed my spirit and because of this I am so thankful and like David, I want to share His wonderful deeds and goodness with the world.
I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
