He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
Because God is all knowing, even before the world was created, He had already planned for us to be saved through His Son, Jesus Christ. Before the first sin, God had already made a way for us to be reconciled to Him through the death and resurrection of Jesus on Calvary. God predestined Jesus to be before all things. He placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church. (Ephesians 1:22) So, if you feel like things are falling apart, are turned upside down or lack meaning put Jesus first in your life where He belongs. When you put Him first, everything else will fall into place and will be held together by His power.
Lord, you have done so much for me and I am grateful for everything, especially the gift of salvation. Help me to keep you first in my life as I trust in You with all my heart to work everything out for my good. Amen

What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?
There is nothing in this world worth losing your soul for. A big house, an expensive car, your career, fame, fortune, none of it is worth losing your soul. You can’t take any of those things with you into eternity. It may feel or seem good in the moment but your time on earth is just a speck compared to all eternity. Whatever pulls you away from God needs to go, let nothing come between you and God. Instead, put Jesus first and live a life of faith and holiness. Don’t lose your soul over something temporary and just to be clear, everything on earth is temporary.
