God is Within You

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 46:5

God is within her, she will not fall

As a child of God you need to know that He dwells in your heart and when God is in your heart you can face anything that comes your way. You no longer have to face anything alone because God is always with you. Put your hope and trust in God and His mighty power to uphold you. He is a present help and you can turn to Him in all circumstances and let His grace and mercy lift you up. God is with you and will help you when you put Him first in your life. You can live with confidence knowing that He is always within you.

Strength Renewed

Verse of the Day:  Isaiah 40:31

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

As the year 2020 comes to a close we can thank God for seeing us through another year. It was a year unlike any we may have ever been through. There was so much happening from the coronavirus to social unrest and even a contentious election. Many people lost their lives, others lost their jobs and almost everyone was quarantined and isolated from the people they love. The new year will soon be here and it’s the perfect time for new beginnings and new possibilities. It’s the perfect time to look toward the future and to hope for better days. Whatever you may currently be going through rely on God and put your hope in Him to give you strength and fortitude. Trust in the Lord to renew and refresh your spirit. Don’t forget, you are more than conquerors through Christ who loves you and each new day brings new beginnings, new opportunities and new possibilities.

God’s Love Never Fails

Psalm 73 26

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 73:26

My flesh and my heart may fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

We are not perfect, we make mistakes and we fall to temptations and tribulations. No matter how much we want to do better we sometimes fail, we sometimes let God and ourselves down. Sometimes we question God’s reasons for why things happen and sometimes we let our faith waiver. But we serve a loving God and no matter how many times we fall, He picks us up. He continues to love us because His love never fails. He loves us not because of who we are but because of who He is. Our body and spirit may fail us, but God never will. Draw near to the Lord, put your hope in Him, for He alone is our strength and our ever present and never failing refuge now and for all eternity.

Experience God for Yourself

Psalm 34 8

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 34:8

Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

I am personally inviting you to experience the infinite goodness of the Lord. He is perfect in every way, the author of all good things, everything about Him is good and He loves you. Turn to Him, put your hope in Him and put your trust in Him alone. He is the only one that can fill your heart with peace. You will never know what it’s like to have a relationship with the Lord until you make an effort by faith to really seek and experience Him for yourself. A good place to start is by praying and reading the Word of God daily.

Getting Through Dark Days

Psalm 43 5

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 43:5

Why, my soul, are you downcast?  Why so disturbed within me?  Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

Life is not always sunshine and flowers. There are days when bad things happen, days when sadness creeps in and there are days when we just feel lonely. In these times, you need to lift your head toward God and give praise to your Savior. The way to forget your troubles is to remember God’s goodness. God loves you more than you will ever know. Turn to Him in your times of trouble. Thank Him for all the good in your life. He hasn’t forgotten you, He is close to the brokenhearted. Put your hope in God and rely on Him to get you through even the darkest of days. Let your faith and hope in God be the path to victory.

As 2019 comes to a close we can thank God for seeing us through another year. Though we may have had struggles we made it through them with the help of the Lord. Personally, our family went through one of the most difficult times when my husband was diagnosed with colon cancer. But because of God’s great mercy he survived and through it all our faith was made stronger. The new year will soon be here and 2020 is not only the start of a new year but also a new decade and it’s the perfect time for new beginnings and new possibilities. Whatever you may currently be going through rely on God and put your hope in Him to give you strength and fortitude. Trust in the Lord to renew and refresh your spirit. You are more than conquerors through God who loves you.

Wait for the Lord

Psalm 130 5.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 130:5

I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.

Wait for the Lord; wait for His presence. Wait with your mind, body and soul. Wait for His answers to prayers, for His guidance, for His promises to be fulfilled in His timing.  Wait because His ways are perfect.    Wait because He loves you and has a plan for you. Wait patiently, putting all of your hope in His word. Wait for the Lord.
