Stand Up, Speak Up – Use Your Vote

Proverbs 31:8

Verse of the Day:  Proverbs 31:8

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.

Speak up for the people who have no voice. Stand up for the oppressed. It’s our duty to help those who cannot help themselves. We must be protectors of those who are unable to plead their own cause. We ought to go into the world and do what we can to help the poor, the destitute and the suffering. It’s up to us to share the Gospel of Jesus with people so they too may know the mercy, forgiveness and love of God.

The 2020 Election is around the corner and your vote matters. Educate yourself on the issues and be an informed voter and use the Bible as your guide. Ask God for wisdom to make good decisions and vote for candidates that represent your values and beliefs. God bless America!

Go and Bear Fruit

John 15 16 (2)

Verse of the Day:  John 15:16

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

Just like the Disciples, you have been chosen to be part of the body of Christ. God chose you to be part of His family even before the foundation of the world. You are a part of His plan and you have a purpose. You have been appointed to go out and bear fruit, to share the Gospel of Christ and bring souls to Jesus. We, as believers in Christ, are all ministers in that we are working for God’s kingdom. You are encouraged continue the work God has called you to do and if you ask the Father in Jesus’ name, He will give you whatever you need to be successful and fruitful.

Do You Hear What I Hear?

Mark 16 15.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Mark 16:15

he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

The Christmas carol “Do You Hear What I Hear?” describes how the news of the birth of Jesus might have swept across the land. From the lamb to the shepherd boy all the way to the king and everyone in between the story of the birth of the Savior, the light of the world, was being shared.  Today, we also have the same commission and more. We’re to share not only the news of the birth of Jesus Christ but also His teachings, His death, His resurrection and His second coming. Hallelujah!

Speak Up

Proverbs 31 8.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Proverbs 31:8

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.

Speak up for the people who have no voice.  Stand up for the oppressed.  It’s our duty to help those who cannot help themselves.  We ought to go into the world and donate our time, money and resources for the poor, the destitute and the suffering.  We must be protectors of those who are unable to plead their own cause. It’s up to us to share the Gospel and demonstrate the teachings of Jesus to the people so they too may know the mercy, forgiveness and love of God.

Courage to Share Your Story

Acts 4 13.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Acts 4:13

When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

You don’t have to be an eloquent speaker to have the courage to tell people about Jesus.  All you need is the willingness to share your own story. Just tell others what God’s love, goodness, grace and mercy has done in your life.
