Have mercy on me, my God, have mercy on me, for in you I take refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.
Faith in Action: In times of distress, run to the Father and leave your troubles at His feet. Let His mercy cover you for there is no safer place to be than under the protection of the Lord your God.

It’s easy to profess your faith when everything is going well. The greatest acts of faith are proven when you trust in God when things go wrong, when things are out of your own control. By faith and prayer, you can take your troubles to the throne for God’s mercy and protection. There will be times when God delivers you from the storm and there will be times when He allows you to go through the storm so that when it’s over you come out stronger than before. If you find yourself going through a storm, take refuge in the shadow of His wings and remember that He will always be with you and He will see you through it.
Heavenly Father, Have mercy on me and deliver me from my troubles. But if I must go through this, then help me to come out stronger than before. Amen

I am personally inviting you to experience the infinite goodness of the Lord. He is perfect in every way, the author of all good things, everything about Him is good and He loves you. Turn to Him, put your hope in Him and put your trust in Him alone. He is the only one that can fill your heart with peace. You will never know what it’s like to have a relationship with the Lord until you make an effort to really seek and experience Him for yourself. A good place to start is by praying and reading the Word of God.
