Verse of the Day:  Psalm 95:2           

Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.  

Today I am thankful for praise and worship music. Being able to praise and worship God through song is so uplifting and inspiring. No matter what is going on in my life it all just seem to melt away instantly as I begin to focus on God. It doesn’t just have to be the music at church. Sometimes it’s while I’m at home or even in the car. I could be driving, feeling some type of way and the perfect song comes on the radio at just the right time and it reminds me that God is always with me and that everything is going to be okay. Even though I’m not a very good singer, when I sing along I feel connected to my Savior and I feel peace in my heart.

Thank You, Lord, for the gift of music and songs, especially when we worship You. Thank You for speaking to us and letting us know that everything is going to be okay through the gifts of others. Amen
