New Beginnings

Verse of the Day:  Lamentations 3:22-23

It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Today is finally the last day of 2020. Tomorrow is the first day of the new year, it’s a chance for a new beginning. Put the past behind you and start this new year with your focus on God. He loves you, He is merciful and His compassion never fails. Our current circumstances may be overwhelming and our bodies may fail us but our soul will not be crushed as long as we have faith, hope and love. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and see that He is good. I pray that the new year will bring you closer to God than ever before. May the LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace. (Numbers 6:24-26)

I’m Not Lucky, I’m Blessed

Numbers 6 24-26

Verse of the Day:  Numbers 6:24-26

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

Don’t waste your time on lucky charms, four leaf clovers or any other superstitions. Instead, spend time in prayer with the living God who hears your prayers. Thank God for all your blessing for every good and perfect gift comes from above. The Lord pours His blessings and grace on His people. He, and He alone is the reason for your blessings and peace. May the Lord keep you in His hands and let His blessing surround you with His love. Let His righteousness shine on you and His mercy and grace rain upon you. May He show you favor all the days of your life in Jesus name.
