Set the Example

Titus 2 7-8.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Titus 2:7-8

In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.

It’s not enough to just deliver the message and teachings, you have to live it too.   It’s easy to say one thing and do another but if you really love God you will strive to set the example for others. Live a life of integrity and uprightness during good times and in difficult times. Let your light shine for others to see so that they may be moved to know, love and serve God.

God’s Mercy

Titus 3 5.jpg

Verse of the Day:  Titus 3:5

he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit

God mercifully sent his only Son to pay for our sins so that we could be made right with God. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we receive a spiritual cleansing and are made new. We’re not saved by anything righteous we’ve done, but by what Jesus did when he died on the cross and it is all because of God’s mercy.
