Verse of the Day: Psalm 31:14
But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.”
Faith in Action: Man may fail you but God never will. God loves you more than anyone else can or ever will and He is trustworthy.

Verse of the Day: Psalm 31:14
But I trust in you, Lord; I say, “You are my God.”
In the best of times and in the worst of times you can trust in the Lord your God to be with you. By faith, you can leave all your troubles at the feet of your heavenly Father. Believe and know in your heart that He is on His mighty throne ready to protect you, to defend you and to help you in your current situation. He is the one and only true living God and in Him you can depend on whenever trials befall you. Man may fail you but God never will. Turn to Him, cling to Him because He is merciful and because He loves you more than anyone else ever can or ever will.
Heavenly Father, You are my God and I trust in You with all my heart. You are my defender and my protector. I will cling to You because I know You love me more than anyone else ever can or ever will. Amen
Verse of the Day: Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Whatever it is that worries you whether it’s spiritual, physical, for yourself or for someone else bring it to God in prayer. Humbly come before your heavenly Father with a sincere heart and lay your burdens, your worries and your cares at his feet. Thank Him for what He’s done for you in the past, thank Him for hearing your prayer in the present and thank Him in advance for answering your prayer in the future. Come to Him with an honest heart, tell Him how you feel and what you need. He already knows, but He wants to hear it from you. The choice is yours, you can worry or you can worship but you can’t do both.
Lord, I praise Your wonderful name! You are mighty, wonderful and the source of everything good. Father, I lay my worries at Your feet because I know that You are in control. I may not understand everything that is happening but I trust in You and pray for Your will to be done. Grant me peace, Lord, as I keep my mind on You and not on my troubles. Amen
Verse of the Day: Ecclesiastes 11:4
Those who watch the wind blow will never sow, and those who observe the clouds will never reap.
If you’re waiting for perfect conditions like the right time, the right people, the right job, the right “whatever” to start living your God given dreams (your purpose) you’ll never get started. Don’t be afraid, God is with you and He will equip you with every good thing you need to do His will. It’s okay to start small, at least you’ve started to sow and it’s okay to make mistakes, it shows you’re trying and not just “watching the wind blow”. Don’t wait for “perfect conditions”, start with what you know now and with what you have now. Let go of fear, step out in faith and trust God to make a way.
Lord, Thank you for always being with me and for giving me a dream and purpose. Help me to let go of fear and step out in faith to do the work for Your kingdom. I know that you will equip me with whatever I need to do your will. I trust in you with all my heart. Amen

Verse of the Day: Psalm 89:2
I will declare that your love stands firm forever, that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.
Though life may disappoint and try us, we can be assured that God honors and fulfills His promises. We can trust and rely on God’s faithfulness which has been established in heaven and stands firm forever. During the hardest trials, our faith in God’s love and mercy will always bring us peace and comfort. Our hope and confidence in God lies in His faithfulness because His Word is true and trustworthy forever and ever. Even if we are faithless, God remains faithful. (2 Timothy 2:13)
Verse of the Day: Proverbs 15:15
All the days of the oppressed are wretched, but the cheerful heart has a continual feast.
You can choose to be worried and miserable or you can choose to trust God and be happy. The way to a cheerful heart begins with giving thanks to God in every situation. When God dwells in your heart there is peace and joy and when you live by faith God provides. You can always find something to be thankful for even if you have to look a little harder.
Verse of the Day: Genesis 16:13
She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.”
God sees you. He sees everything you are going through, He knows your heart and He knows your pain. He looks at you with His eyes of love, mercy and grace. God loves you more than you could ever imagine and you need to know that you are not alone. Trust God and give Him your brokenness, your pain and everything that is weighing you down. Call upon the Lord, praise Him and allow Him to heal your heart and lead you to restoration.
Verse of the Day: Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Have you ever felt like it was taking way too long for God to change you? Maybe you have some bad habits or qualities you want to change or you feel you should be further along in your spiritual growth. You may have even wished you could rush God into changing you over night. I know I have, we all do, but it just doesn’t happen that way. Life is a journey and it begins when we give our life to Jesus. Our final destination is heaven and along the way God is working on us, changing us, growing our faith and making us more like Christ. You need to be confident that in His way and in His timing He is changing you. We know this because He always finishes what He starts. So when you feel like you’re not changing fast enough, have faith and trust that God is still working on you and as long as you don’t give up He will continue to work on you until Jesus comes for His church.
Verse of the Day: Psalm 3:5
I lie down and sleep: I wake again because the Lord sustains me.
Even in the battles you can find peace because God is with you. He will give you rest when you give all your troubles to Him. When you trust in the Lord with all your heart, He alone will give you peace unlike anything you’ve ever known. God will allow you to lie down and sleep peacefully knowing that He is in control and He is working everything out for the good of those who love Him. When you wake up thank God for another day of life and praise Him for His goodness and mercy.
