Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

It’s not always about the words you use when you try to tell people about Jesus. Sometimes actions do speak louder than words and it’s the way you live for Christ that makes the most impact.  Whether you know it or not, people are watching you. They are watching to see if your actions match your words. They know you can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk? No one is perfect and God is continually working in us but we can try our best to live a life of humility and integrity. Follow the example of Jesus and try your best to do everything with love. “May your life preach more loudly than your lips.” – William Ellery Channing

Walk in Love

Ephesians 5 2

Verse of the Day:  Ephesians 5:2

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Live a life of love by following the example of Jesus Christ. He loved us so much He gave all He had so we could be saved. Be imitators of Christ and let everything you do come from a place of love. To walk in love is not just to talk about it but to actually apply it to your daily life. We can never love as much as God loves us but we can try our best to be patient, kind and selfless. We can give our time and be of service to others for the glory of God. As we walk through our days in love, may our continued praises and thanksgiving be an offering and a sweet aroma to the Lord.
