Use Your Gifts

Romans 12 6-8

Verse of the Day:  Romans 12:6-8

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

By the grace of God, He has given you gifts specific to the purpose He has planned for you and the church. Not everyone has the same gift, each one of us is unique but together we make the body of Christ complete. There are different types of gifts but it is the same God that works in all of you. As part of the body of Christ, it’s your responsibility to discover how to use those gifts for the good of the church and humanity. Whatever your gift is, your goal should be to use it to the best of your ability for God’s purpose so that He may be glorified.

Be the Best You

Romans 9 20 2

Verse of the Day:  Romans 9:20

But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’”

Think about all the people created by God since the beginning of time. No two people have ever had the same fingerprint because God has made each one of us as a unique, one of a kind creation. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He made each of us with a special purpose in mind and we each have been given different gifts, talents and life experiences that make us who we are. Love and accept yourself the way God made you. That doesn’t mean we don’t want to change and improve ourselves it just means we don’t need to compare ourselves to anyone else. “A flower does not think of competing with the next flower, it just blooms.” – Unknown

You Are Wonderfully Made

Psalm 139 14

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 139:14

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

If you’ve ever felt insecure for any reason, and most of us have, you can rest assured that you are God’s own masterpiece. Everything God makes is wonderful, including you. No part of you is a mistake for He made every single part of you precisely the way He want to and then He breathed a living soul into your body for His purpose. Praise God because His Word is true and you are unique and wonderfully made by the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Start seeing yourself the way God sees you, as His wonderful creation.
