A Two-Step Process

Psalm 37 3.jpg

Verse of the Day: Psalm 37:3

Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

God’s promises are often conditional. In other words, you have to do your part and God will do His part. There is a two-step process to receive this promise from God. The Lord will take care of all your needs but you need to trust in Him and do good. Notice the verse says “and” do good, not “or” do good. While you are waiting and trusting on God to fulfill His promise have faith. Moreover, do good, always keeping his commandments and doing the things that are pleasing to the Him.

The Seventh Time

1 Kings 18 43-44.jpg

Verse of the Day:  1 Kings 18:43-44

“Go and look toward the sea”, he told his servant.  And he went up and looked.  There is nothing there,” he said.  The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.”

Keep having faith in God, keep believing, keep hoping, keep praising Him, and keep waiting for His favor no matter how long it takes for your prayer to be answered, don’t give up. Praise God while you wait on Him even if it takes seven times or seven hundred times.
