You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.
Faith in Action: If you don’t want to be overcome by the darkness of this world, trust in the Lord with all your heart. He will shine His light on you and give you the strength you need to keep walking in the light.

You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.
It’s not easy living in a world full of hate, violence and darkness. But when you trust in the Lord with all your heart His light shines down on you because He is the light of the world. Out of His love, grace and mercy He alone will give you the strength and faith you need to keep walking in the light and you will not be overcome. Be faithful to God and you will see that He is everything He promises to be.
Lord, You are the light of the world and we thank You for Your promises. By faith we follow You, let Your light shine down on us. Grant us strength to keep going strong and not be overcome by the darkness in this world. Amen
