Praise His Name

Psalm 99 3

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 99:3

Let them praise your great and awesome name – he is holy.

The Lord is so worthy of our praise. We serve a mighty God who is wonderful, merciful and faithful. Praise Him for who He is, for His goodness and holiness. Praising His holy name invites His presence and opens a path to a deeper connection and relationship with our Creator and the King of the world. Focus on the Lord and give Him all your attention and praise Him with all your heart and soul. Just come before the Lord to give Him praise, honor and glory. Blessed be the name of the Lord!

Unashamed and Courageous

Philippians 1

Verse of the Day:  Philippians 1:20

I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

God’s grace and the hope He gives us means we don’t have to be ashamed of any suffering we may encounter for Christ. We must have the courage to follow Jesus and declare Him to be the Son of God, the Messiah and the Lord of our lives no matter what is going on around us. People may mock or ridicule us for our faith and as believers in Christ when things are not going well or when we face troubles but do not be shaken for we serve a mighty God. Be courageous and determined to always do your very best to obey the call of God in all circumstances.

Grace, Compassion and Mercy

Psalm 145 8

Verse of the Day:  Psalm 145:8

The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in mercy.

Where would we be if not for God’s grace, compassion, patience and mercy?  We serve a mighty God who can do anything and although we don’t deserve any of His compassion and goodness, He still loves us. He loves us so much and is so merciful that He sent His only Son to come into the world to redeem sinners by dying on the cross and paying the ultimate price for our sin. Proclaim with me the Lord’s greatness; let us praise His name together! (Psalm 34:3)
