Verse of the Day: Ephesians 5:15-16
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
We are living in troubled times and it’s so easy to go astray from God’s ways. We need to live our lives conscientiously and with purpose. Jesus is your example of how to live a righteous and honorable life. Be diligent and wise in your decisions, making the most of every opportunity, always keeping your eyes focused on the Lord. Ask God to give you the wisdom you need to make the right decisions in your daily life and He will gladly give it to you.
Verse of the Day: Proverbs 1:5
The wise hear them and grow in wisdom; those with understanding gain guidance.
Solomon asked God to give him wisdom and understanding and it pleased the Lord, so he gave him wisdom and understanding beyond measure. The Book of Proverbs was written to guide the people in how they should live their lives. Some may say the Book of Proverbs doesn’t apply to today’s times, but it is as relevant now as it was then because God’s word is the same yesterday, today and forever. Learning is a life-long journey, even the wise can gain wisdom.
Verse of the Day: James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
If you have a big decision to make that you are uncertain about, take it to the Lord in prayer. God is wise and all knowing, the giver of all good things. Bring your concerns to him with sincerity and ask for guidance and wisdom to make the right decision.
Verse of the Day: Proverbs 14:3
A fool’s mouth lashes out with pride, but the lips of the wise protect them.
Arrogance, conceit, smugness, egotism, and vanity are only a few of the ways pride shows itself. Think before you speak and don’t let your mouth bring you trouble.
