So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

The concept of the “Golden Rule” is a general truth that is found not only in the Holy Bible but appears in many other religions. It’s so basic and fundamental that we teach it to our children yet, we as adults sometimes forget to act according to the principle, if you wouldn’t want it done to you, don’t do it to anyone else. Jesus’ teaching goes further than not doing to others what you wouldn’t want done to you. He teaches that we should treat everyone with fairness, justice, kindness, respect, mercy and forgiveness just as you would like to have them do to you. He goes further yet and commands, that you love one another as He loves you.
